It never ceases to amaze me how LA’s workout scene is always on point.

Spring is now upon us and the onset of a new season always motivates me to start fresh and search for the perfect Yoga Workout.

I recently had the pleasure of practicing at Hot 8 Yogalocated in Beverly Hills. They’ve also got locations in Santa Monica and Manhattan Beach. I randomly chose their Yoga Barre class, which offers a dynamic fusion of yoga, body sculpting, barre work, and non impact cardio. This class is aimed at getting the body long and lean. Inspired by the famous Dancer Lotte Berk and Taught by Trainer Nancy Norby, I instantly became a Hot Barre class convert. It was different from any other Barre class I had ever taken because of the infusion of heat (the class is taught in a hot room with temperatures ranging from 104-109 degrees).

I immediately noticed a difference in my own body after only 4 classes. It was truly AWESOME!!

The Yoglow Pillow was an instrumental accessory as it buffered my knees, back & tail bone during the Barre sequence. It also really helped to stay in the zone, keeping my focus on nothing else but movements.
